PI.29.c1 Acidophilic pituitary adenoma (MT x100). Fine acidophilic granulations are visible in the cytoplasm of numerous cells that exhibit an epithelial arrangement along the multiple capillaries. Immunohistochemistry revealed the marked positivity of most of the cells for growth hormone (HGH).
