Dr. Ricardo Theaux is a neuropathologist in the Department of Pathology at the
Reina Fabiola Medical School of the Catholic University of Córdoba (UCC), in
Argentine. Dr. Theaux was trained in Pathology at the same University
with the Pr. Raúl Armando and Pr. Rubén Sambuelli, between 1985 and 1988. Highly attracted by the neurosciences, he got a scholarship at the
Neuropathology Laboratory at the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL), in
Belgium, under the direction of Professor Jean-Marie Brucher during the
1989-1992 period. Since then, Dr. Theaux fully dedicates himself to Neuropathology,
neuromuscular disorders as well as central nervous system disorders,
particularly those related to neuro-oncology, doing stereotactic biopsies at
different health centers.
